Feb 2020We were a family of 6 and are staying at this wonderful hotel for 6 nights. This is our 3rd trip to the Dolomites. We have stayed in Corvara, Selva Volkstein and Campitello on previous trips. We do 1week in Corvara then choose another town for the second week. Dad and I are in the comfort rooms which I highly recommend, they have been recently renovated, the balcony views are spectacular overlooking the hot wellness outdoor pool and vista of the mountains. It’s quiet, perfectly located, the ski bus is just a 20 m walk away. In one stop your at the cable car of Canezei or a 3 min bus ride to Col Rodella in Campitello. It’s centrally located in town. The food is wonderful, breakfast superb. The kids in standard rooms which are absolutely fine. Evening drinks in the lounge area by the fire before heading into the dining room. It has its own cellar for those who love wine. I have no reservations in recommending this hotel, you will not be disappointed.
Feb 2020We spent a one week ski holiday in this charming hotel in Canazei. This Hotel is conveniently located in the center of the village, at 300 meters from the Belvedere lift. We were given a nice, large and very clean room. The spa and wellness area was truly amazing, especially the outdoor pool. At breakfast and dinner a large variety of food and drinks were served, all of very high quality. The menu included both traditional local dishes as well as more modern types of offers. All the hotel staff was always very kind, helpful and willing to fulfill every guests desires. Overall it was a fantastic experience, we truly recommend this hotel.
Feb 2020Centrally located and very easy walk to Gondola to access ski fields. Good sized room and bathroom, very clean - friendly and attentive staff - nothing is too much trouble. We had half board option and were surprised and very happy with the quality, freshness and variety of breakfast and dinner options. We stayed 14 days and in that time they did not repeat any of the 5-course dinner options. Canazei is great to access the whole superski area. Our only gripe is the European habit of having split beds - this means you ultimately end up with a join between mattresses when they put two beds together to form doubles - not hotels fault - just frustrating if you are used to the comfort of queen size mattress. We would definitely stay at the hotel again if back in Canazei.
Mar 2019Another year, another wonderful stay at Croce Bianca! Living in NYC, it is not easy to organize a quick ski week to the Dolomites (lovely slopes, check Sellaronda!). However, the atmosphere, welcoming staff, great restaurant and wine cellar do pay off for the long trip! The rooms are always very comfy, super clean, the SPA with the panoramic sauna is awesome and the great choice of wines score high points for this review. Above all, the warm welcome by Marlise and Joti together with the superb food/wine suggestions by maitre Alberto (with a great help by the young Tobia!) and the very balanced cocktails by Silvio are the extra value of this beautiful hotel! Great job, as always! Thank you for another very relaxing week!
Feb 2019This is our second consecutive year at the hotel, returning for another week of skiing with our extended family to the Croce Bianca hotel and spa. We felt like we were returning home. The first welcome was from Marlise, who had been dealing with all our reservations. We are a large family with many requests! Then Jotty welcomed us warmly and of course Roberta and Derek the owners too. They both are constantly making sure that their hotel retains the high standards they set. Our rooms were delightful, always super well cleaned twice a day. The dining room staff is extremely efficient, and Alberto the head waiter managed our dietary needs extremely well and the food was varied and delicious. The spa, massages and atmosphere there enabled us to relax after a hard day of skiing. We look forward to returning and can highly recommend this wonderful experience.
Feb 2019On a package ski holiday. Convenient location to the gondola station and the town shops. Good room size and clean. Staff are nice and helpful. Comprehensive and nice hotel facilities including warm water pool and various sauna rooms etc. Restaurant and bar are very reasonable with quality services.
Jan 2019We had a week skiing holiday organized by Dolomites Ski Tours from Australia (who are amazing). The hotel is situated in the heart of the village. Perfect chalet style hotel, the staff went above and beyond - nothing was too much trouble. We did the half board... breakfast was great but the dinner was FANTASTIC. Not only was the food delicious with the menu varying every night but the service from the staff was first class. We had a room on the third floor that looked out to the snow covered mountain. Perfect! Would not hesitate to go back. Thank you!
